Do you provide tax receipts for all donations?
A:
Yes, we do! I send out tax receipts only when they are asked for. The receipt will have the address of the doner and the amount paid for shipping if it is easily found and I leave it up to you to fill in the value of your donation.

How do I request materials?
A:

Do I need to provide any proof of income? eligibility to homeschool? etc.?
A:
No, we do not require proof of anything to request materials for us.

Should I type a letter or is handwritten OK?
A:
We prefer a typed or neatly printed letter.

How is Book Samaritan run?
A:
We are a ministry of our local church here in Pawhuska. We are funded through private donations and requests are filled by volunteers.

When is the best time of year to request materials?
A:
If you want to recieve materials by the start of the school year, May or June would be the best time to send us a request. July and August are the buisiest time of year for us and if you wait till then to send a letter, expect to wait a month or more.

How specific should my request be?
A:
You are welcome to be as specific as nesessary, It does help if you list a curriculum prefrence. Sometimes an example is helpful if we don't have exactly what you need. Also let us know if it would be alright to substitute. Requests are filled faster if there is no prefrence. Please don't send me a 5 page list and email me a week later asking where your books are.

How long can I expect to wait for materials?

Under "normal" circumstances ( not in the summer) usually two weeks.
